Two weeks ago, I walked away from a guest house deal.

Here’s what happened:
• We had investors on board.
• The opportunity was positioned as a strong deal.
• But after running the numbers properly, it wasn’t as good as it was sold to us.

Even with investors ready, I made the call to walk.

This is the difference between chasing deals and building a brand. Amateurs say yes to prove themselves. Professionals say no to protect their investors, their reputation, and their future.

My rule is simple: if I can’t stand behind it 100%, I won’t touch it. Credibility compounds faster than cash ever will.
